- 2 strips of bacon

- 1/2 lb shrimp (thawed)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

- Once boiling, reduce heat to simmer and add seafood.
- Seafood cooks quickly so keep a close eye on it at this stage. Shrimp are cooked when they turn from white to pink. Mussels are cooked when their texture becomes firm.
- Once your seafood is cooked, turn the heat off, add heavy cream, stir to combined and heat through, and serve topped with crumbled bacon.
Subs & Adds
- If you do not have fish stock this can also be made with chicken stock.
- There are many different protein options for this dish. In addition to mussels and shrimp, you can add pre-cooked diced chicken, Cajun sausage, cod, halibut, crab or lobster meat, etc.
